Hi Everyone:
Well, it is so nice to have ACL behind us. We made a lot of masks and gave away a lot of Leap of Joy bracelets and got some emails to add to our newsletter list. So on we go.
Special thanks to Madeleine and Michele for their help. Clay especially.
Next up: Let It Go. I designed jewelry and was in the retail business for decades of my life doing shows like ACL and Armadillo Christmas Bazaar. I have amassed a significant amount of everything, and now it is time to let it go. Everything is new or unused. I do have some gorgeous Indian dresses that were donated. Too big for our kids. Excellent condition. Lots of clothing, jewelry, and a beader's dream with every kind of bead. There's an accumulation of semi precious and costume jewelry, bags and accessories, folk art, kids' dance shoes and costumes, ornaments and gift items. Special fill bags just for kids with toys and games, face painting, treats and more.
Fill a bag for $5 and up. You can't help but be overjoyed at the bargains! Lots of cool stuff and an early start on holiday shopping.
Delicious food provided by Stubbs. Some of our kids will perform and there will be No Kids DJ spinning discs.
We will need help. So volunteer if you can. Schedule link will be tomorrow.
Proceeds will go to our Cap & Mitten campaign that we started a few years back. Kids will receive caps, mittens, socks and a small gift.
Incidentally, we are so happy to welcome our new intern, Michael Martin on board. He sure is a great help!
I wish everyone well. Please let us know if you can help.
